The 3003 H14/H32 chequered aluminium plate is a high-performance material combining corrosion resistance, workability, and anti-slip functionality.

The chequered aluminium plate is also named aluminum checkered plate , aluminium tread plate or aluminum diamond plate, the front side of the plate is always has some pattern or ribbed, like one bar, three bar, five bar plate, the backside is a smooth surface.

3003 Aluminum alloy is the most widely used of all aluminum alloys. It is essentially commercially pure aluminum with the addition of Manganese which increases strength some 20% over 1100. With excellent corrosion resistance and workability it can be deep drawn or spun, welded or brazed.

There are some difference between 3003 H14 and 3003 H32 tread plate

• Tensile Strength: 130–165 MPa (H14) | 125–150 MPa (H32) .
• Yield Strength: ≥110 MPa (H14) | Slightly lower than H14 but with better stress relaxation .
• Elongation: 4–6% (H14) | Slightly higher than H14 due to stabilization treatment .
• Hardness: 45–55 HB (annealed), increasing to 60–70 HB after H14/H32 processing .

3003 Chequered aluminium plates are usually used for the top walkway and door steps of tank trucks. The chequered aluminium plate has good anti-slip performance and decorative effect, and is suitable for places where walking is required.
